acunic® in use at Getzner Textil

The historic building dating back to 1871 was carefully renovated to preserve it as a historical monument and the acoustic textiles were skillfully staged. acunic Sales Manager Markus Dannreuther gives an insight into the application: "Due to the high ceilings and many hard surfaces, the acoustic conditions were a disaster. Our acoustic textiles are convincing both functionally and visually. They were used as ceiling sails and as wall panelsfor the skylights." In combination with the transparent glass walls of the office units, the light-colored wood and the historic cast-iron columns, they create a calming atmosphere throughout the office complex.

"architektur.terminal hackl und klammer" was responsible for the implementation. Architect Dipl.-Arch. (FH) Dieter Klammer remembers how the principle of acoustic textiles was completely unknown to them until then: "The special structure and feel of the acoustic textiles immediately appealed to us. We were amazed that the fabric itself can have a sound-absorbing function thanks to its special surface." In interior design, textiles always have a decorative purpose in addition to their function. Where a functional and aesthetic solution is required to improve room acoustics, acunic provides the right answer.
