Passion for family and career
Margot Pircher started her professional journey at Getzner Textil straight after secondary school and completed an apprenticeship as an office administrator. She then managed the warehouse and transport logistics department (then the invoicing department), which was of course much smaller at the time than it is today. The company has grown considerably since Margot started her career. However, what she still loves about the company is the family atmosphere.
After almost ten years at Getzner, Margot decided to take a break to devote herself fully to her children. ‘It was a conscious decision to have more time for my children,’ she says. However, she always remained active: voluntary work, professional reorientation and training as a qualified life and social counsellor (based on logotherapy) honed her skills. Margot's return to Getzner initially led her into corporate development. Here, Margot's organisational talent and social strength were particularly appreciated. But Margot also immediately felt at home at Getzner again. ‘A lot has changed, the company has grown a lot, but the family feeling has remained. That was one of the reasons why I was happy to come back,’ says Margot.
