INFRARED PROTECTION

PROTECTION AGAINST UNWANTED VISIBILITY

Our infrared protection fabrics make it impossible to localise members of the military or the police force during night-time operations or in conditions where visibility is bad with the aid of infrared devices that detect heat.

The closer the fabric is to the body, the better its infrared protection function works. It is therefore best worn directly on the skin, for example in the form of a base layer. Of course, the protection effect still works when the fabric is used for trousers, headwear or jackets. Equipment such as backpacks, for example, can also be optimised with these protective fabrics. The general rule is: the better an infrared protection fabric prevents the reflection of body heat, the "blinder" thermal infrared cameras will become.
