Fabrics with an bacteriostatic effect minimise the risk of health hazards caused by germs and bacteria and therefore protect people at work and also during leisure time activities.

In certain fields such as the food industry, the healthcare industry or clothing manufacturing, hygiene plays a particularly important role. Bacteriostatic fabrics prevent bacteria and germs from becoming established and spreading. Bacteriostatic fabrics are also very important in areas where sterile conditions are a must, for example in hospitals and laboratories.
